Oliva - Tanzania Case Study (Primary 3-6)
Oliva, 22, didn’t have the opportunity to attend school and was embarrassed because she couldn’t read, write or count. Then Oliva enrolled in literacy and numeracy classes, as part of Caritas Australia’s A+ program. She set up a classroom in her home, to share her knowledge, free of charge, with other adults. Now, she has graduated, attendance at her home home-based classes classes are growing and her business is thriving. Learning activities included.Â
Oliva's story first featured in Project Compassion 2021.
