Stolen Generations - Upper Primary and Secondary
This is a series of slides that defines the Stolen Generations for upper primary and secondary students and unpacks the history of assimilation. It is supported by a case study and discussion prompts that encourage students to engage in meaningful reflection on the ongoing effects of the assimilation policy. Students then explore the steps that have been, and still need to be taken on a path towards healing.
